Proprio ora che fanno tutti dream pop, non potevano non tornare sulla scena i Beach House.
Quarto album della coppia di Baltimora, che negli anni ha migliorato esponenzialmente la propria capacità compositiva e che trova meritata consacrazione. Un lavoro che mi ha sedotto al primo rapido ascolto. Armonico e leggero si espande nella stanza, coinvolgendo completamente chi ascolta. Malinconico quanto basta, non ti porta al suicidio, ma al contrario tocca le corde giuste e fa pensare a tante belle cose. Ogni traccia è un viaggio romantico e Myth, in particolare, indica il percorso ed apre magistralmente, con un gusto molto Sophie Marceau, questo album spettacolare.
Se mai porterò la mia bella in collina per un pic nic, lo lascerò agire in sottofondo, mentre lentamente farò scivolare la spallina del suo vestito a fiori..
“Nella giungla dovrai stare finché un 5 o un 8 non compare”.
Prima di ascoltare questa nuova canzone di Azealia Banks, la fenomenale Azealia Banks, state attenti. Perché dentro Jumanji si rischia sempre di rimanere intrappolati…
e questa traccia rischia seriamente di rimanervi intrappolata in testa per un lungo tempo.

Dopo il primo piacevolissimo omonimo album, il 15 maggio arriva la sua opera seconda “The Bright Side”, anticipata dal singolo “Leave The Lights On”, una delle canzoni più contagiose sentite negli ultimi tempi e in grado di spostare i suoi orizzonti sonori in territori più ritmati ed elettronici.
Roba che sta bene persino se suonata all’infuori di “Grey’s Anatomy”!

Who is the new indie pop queen?
After the various Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, Sia, Sara Bareilles and all the other female singers played at least once a episode in “Grey’s Anatomy”, it’s Meiko’s turn. Following her first homonymous delightful first album, her second LP “The Bright Side” comes out on May 15, anticipated by the single “Leave The Lights On”, one of the most contagious songs of the recent times, a tune that shift her sound towards a more upbeat and electronic sound.
And it sounds good even when not played in “Grey’s Anatomy”!

La indie-pop-electro band canadese capitanata da Emily Haines torna a giugno con il nuovo album “Synthetica” e intanto ha lanciato il primo singolo, “Youth Without Youth”. Molto rockeggiante e molto ggiovane. Con o senza ggioventù.

Per intanto però c’è il primo (devo dire esaltante) singolo “Every Single Night”. Urka che canzone!
