ARCTIC MONKEYS – SUCK IT AND SEE

L’evoluzione è compiuta, ma lo shock è stato decisamente meno sconvolgente.

Archiviato Humbug, l’album che ha segnato, forse, il vero inizio della carriera artistica degli Arctic Monkeys; siamo di fronte all’ennesima trasformazione della band di Sheffield.

12 nuove tracce dal sapore rock and roll di una volta, con le gigantesche schitarrate e le linee di basso infinite. Ormai dimenticate le vecchie strimpellate nu rave che li avevano fatti esplodere, sputano fuori 12 ballate che arrivano a toccare anche punte di Grunge. Una crescita artistica che ha dell’incredibile se si guarda al panorama musicale moderno, soprattutto in ambito rock.

“Shalalaaaa, i wanna rock and roll, ohhhh yeah.” 

Da quanto tempo non si sentivano questi vecchi slogan impolverati ?!

Forse i Deep Purple ne sarebbero fieri. Forse.
